by the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA)

The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is the largest nonprofit supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Through our programs and services NEDA provides communities with education, early intervention, and groundbreaking research to achieve lasting well-being and recovery.
Here is a list of resources to help those who may have eating disorders. First is Resources for Professionals. NEDA’s Resource Center is the nation’s leading resource hub for eating disorders. We have a dedicated section for professionals where you can access guidelines as well as our videos, webinars, and blogs to learn more about eating disorders and issues that may impact treatment approach.
Resources for Patients:
Toolkits: We have toolkits for parents, coaches, and educators. These are designed to provide information about eating disorders and ways to support those impacted by eating disorders--specifically family members, athletes, and students.
There are English and Spanish online eating disorders screening tools. Appropriate for ages 13+, our screening tool helps determine whether an individual is at risk for an eating disorder. Once completed, individuals are directed to resources to support help seeking.
Treatment Directory: Seeking help from an eating disorders specialist is important for recovery. Our directory can help locate in person and online professionals across the country. Use our enhanced filters to locate professionals who can treat your patients’ unique needs.
Resource Center: Our resource center also connects individuals and loved ones with critical knowledge and lived experiences to find the help and support they need to navigate through all stages of their recovery journey. This includes basic information about eating disorders, blogs, tools on how to talk to someone about concerns, labs/exams to share with medical professionals, list of support group options, and our treatment directory.
You are invited to stay connected with NEDA by signing up for our newsletter. Get the latest updates, resources, and invitations to our events.
