The LGBTQIA2+ community have unique challenges during their recovery journey. Peer support is vitally important in addressing these challenges.

In this webinar, we will explore the importance of inclusivity, affirmation, and cultural humility when providing peer support to LGBTQIA2+ individuals in mental health and substance use recovery.

Participants will learn how peer workers can create safer spaces, build trust, honor lived experience, reduce stigma, and support healing for people navigating identity, trauma, discrimination, recovery, and community connection.

You will get practical strategies for integrating inclusive peer support practices into recovery programs, ensuring that they can create safe and supportive environments for individuals in the LGBTQIA2+ community.
