Hiring (and keeping) the right employees is more important than ever before. According to the HRSA, the turnover and burnout rates for those in the industry is high, and the need for well-qualified employees is rising due to the shortages of counselors.

In this webinar, attendees will become aware of factors that drive challenges many treatment centers face in hiring and retaining key staff.

A few of the focal discussion points include the importance of hiring strong leaders essential to sculpting a rewarding work environment that motivates employees to excel in their positions and stay at their current organization, how a lack of strong leadership causes employees to move on to other opportunities, and why job candidates choose one opportunity over others.

This presentation will feature insights gained from behavioral healthcare surveys on Employee Satisfaction, Company Culture and Healthcare Employment data, direct interviews with current employees regarding their experience with their current employer, and the presenters' years of experience working in and hiring employees in behavioral healthcare.

Jordan Young

Jordan Young is the CEO and founder of Jordan and Associates Consulting, LLC, and is a member of NBHAP's Advisory Board.

In 2010, Jordan's personal recovery and desire to help others pushed him away from corporate B2B sales and towards behavioral healthcare. He began his career in an admissions role, where he worked with over 4,000 patients to coordinate treatment with hundreds of treatment centers around the country. In 2013, he was promoted to oversee the same organization's events department. He designed the themes, content creation, education and drove sales for 17 national conferences. In 2018, his aspirations to make a more significant impact on behavioral healthcare led to the creation of Jordan and Associates Consulting, whose purpose is to leverage the experience, education, and thousands of connections made in the industry to help treatment centers overcome obstacles blocking their path to success. Jordan's 14+ years of experience and thousands of relationships in behavioral healthcare have formed the foundation for the focus of his business, which is helping treatment centers hire key staff. He has worked with over 40 different behavioral healthcare organizations to identify, interview, and hire key staff in Executive, Business Development, Admissions, Marketing and positions. You can hear him on the 20th episode of our podcast, Destination Change.
