Advocacy

Advocacy efforts encourage industry involvement and self-regulation by informing providers of legislative activity that will promote state and federal rules and regulations that benefit providers and those dealing with behavioral health concerns.

NBHAP wants to make sure our members are updated with the latest legislation happening in the industry. Whether that's through our Advocacy Alerts, our Legal Repository, or our state-level Frequently Asked Questions regarding compliance, NBHAP is the leading and unifying voice of addiction-focused treatment programs.

We even offer a way to find your legal representatives so you can advocate yourself.
