Advocacy Alert: Helping Families to Support Their LGBTQIA2S Children & Young Adults

December 22, 2022

via Counselor Magazine

Many families throughout the USA have been affected by Anti-LGBTQIA2+ bills. In this article from NBHAP's official magazine Counselor, you will get familiar with legislation that is being signed by the Governor of California but not nationwide. We must protect our LGBTQIA2+ youth through education, prevention, and providing safe places for them where they can open up and talk about their gender and sexuality.

Read (for free) the Counselor Magazine article on California Assembly bills to get familiar with so that you are able to mirror them and propose them for your state. The article also includes ways to help now as well as links to resources for families and providers.
