Advocacy Alert: New Jersey Regulations — AB 3607

The bipartisan bill Assembly Bill 3607 has was introduced into the New Jersey State Legislature. The bill would require the department of Health to approve a credentialing agency to develop and administer a voluntary certification program for recovery residences and recovery residence administrators in the state. It would supplement title 26 (Health and Vital Statistics) of the New Jersey Revised Statutes. It would take effect immediately, but the credentialing organization would have 120 days to develop the program.
