What is the Certificate in Addiction Treatment Marketing (C-ATM)?

The C-ATM is a first-of-its-kind certificate program and industry difference maker, setting the national standard for addiction treatment marketers. The C-ATM is a comprehensive program of study, addressing the most important topics with which new and experienced addiction treatment marketers should be familiar.

Who should take the C-ATM?

The C-ATM is designed to serve the needs of a variety of addiction treatment industry stakeholders, including: addiction recovery facility personnel, owners and operators of addiction treatment programs and facilities, outside marketing consultant personnel (working in call centers, internet lead generation, and social media relations), related service industry professionals (such as laboratories and medical services), and sober living operators and personnel, among others.

What will I gain by taking the C-ATM?

Through participation in the C-ATM program, you will learn best practices and practical tips from renowned legal and industry experts. What is the C-ATM curriculum comprised of?

The C-ATM is comprised of six comprehensive, interactive online courses. Each course requires approximately six hours to complete, and the entire certificate takes approximately 36 hours. Each of the courses has been carefully researched and developed by our subject-matter experts and instructional design team. The result is a comprehensive and cohesive set of learning experiences, custom designed for optimal learning.

Can I take just one C-ATM course or should I take them all?

Each C-ATM course may be taken individually or you may take them all. You will receive a Certificate of Course Completion for each course you take. All six courses must be completed to receive the C-ATM Certificate and Badge of Recognition.

What are topics of each of the C-ATM courses?

What format do the online learning courses take?

Each C-ATM course consists of: High-quality video presentations by legal and industry experts, online resources that include relevant news articles and case studies, reflection opportunities to increase self-awareness; formative quizzes to ensure comprehension, and a summative assessment to test overall understanding of the course content.

When can I access my course?

The C-ATM program is offered fully online, allowing you on-demand 24-7 access, so you can learn at your own pace, conveniently from your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

How do I best view the course?

The course can be viewed just like a normal web page, it is best viewed on a laptop or desktop computer.

How long is each course?

We estimate that it should take you approximately six hours to complete each C-ATM online learning course.

How much video is there in each course?

Each C-ATM course contains between 80-120 minutes of high-quality video presentations.

Can I download the videos?

No, the videos are not downloadable. However, they are available to you on-demand 24-7 so you can watch (and re-watch) them anytime you like.

When does my course begin?

Your course begins whenever you are ready! Once you complete your purchase you have instant access to the course.

Do I have to complete the course within a specific time frame?

You can complete the C-ATM courses at your own pace. There are no deadlines or timed assessments. You will have access to your course for two years from the date of purchase.

Can I stop and restart my course whenever I want?

Yes, you can stop and restart your course at anytime. Your progress in the course will be saved so you can pick up where you left off when you return.

When I finish a class, how do I get my Certificate of Completion?

Upon successful completion of the course final exam, you will be instructed how to instantly access your Certificate of Completion.
