Insurance claim denials can affect every part of a healthcare organization--from administrative efficiency to patient experience and overall financial stability. While some denials are inevitable, most can be prevented or overturned with the right knowledge, documentation, and follow-up strategy. Navigating Insurance Denials is a comprehensive webinar designed to equip attendees with the tools they need to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve denials across multiple payer types.
This in-depth training begins with an overview of why denials happen. Participants will learn the difference between preventable denials, clinical denials, and administrative denials, as well as how each category requires a different approach. We will discuss common triggers such as incorrect coding, missing demographic or eligibility information, invalid or lapsed authorizations, coordination-of-benefits issues, and payer-specific policy restrictions.
From there, the webinar will guide attendees through the denial-resolution process step-by-step. A significant portion of the webinar focuses on appeal writing. In addition to reactive denial management, the training emphasizes prevention and workflow design. Finally, the webinar covers payer-specific nuances that commonly impact behavioral health, substance-use treatment programs, and medical practices.
This webinar is designed for billing teams, clinicians, administrators, revenue-cycle specialists, and anyone involved in the insurance or reimbursement process. Regardless of experience level, participants will gain practical, actionable tools they can begin using immediately to enhance accuracy, reduce write-offs, and ensure proper payment for the services their organization provides.
